Saudi defense minister meets with Turkish president in Ankara
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman, was welcomed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Presidential Palace in Ankara on Tuesday.
The meeting involved a thorough review of the relations between Saudi Arabia and Turkey, exploring avenues for enhancement. They also discussed regional and international developments and the efforts being made to address them.
Later in the day, Prince Khalid met with his Turkish counterpart, Yasar Guler, at the Ministry of National Defense in Ankara. The discussions focused on aspects of Saudi-Turkish relations and explored ways to continue strengthening and developing cooperation between the defense ministries of both countries.
Prince Khalid’s visit to Turkey is official, with his arrival in the country taking place earlier on Tuesday.
